Good afternoon everyone. It's in my FAQs. See the selection.
"Please If you have an individual/custom order for another product, I would like you write in detail all your wishes. It will happen like this. You describe in details all your wishes, such as color, additional details, sizes, shape. Please add photo of the same thing. I appreciate it. You pay 60% of the price of the product. I make your order without further changes, you will see thees working process photos regularly. Than I send a photo of the final product and you pay another 40% and the shipping cost. I pack it well and send it to you. Also You should to consider that sometimes someone has already ordered a thing before you. I will let you know about it in this case."
But I want it to be in policy. Can I do it and how? Or should I leave this in the FAQs and write to a new customer every time - "Please read this ..."? And maybe you have some more tips.
Thank you.
Hi...
I think they should pay all 100% upfront.
Can you make the baskets in colours ? : orange. White & red. Pink. Purple. Give people options of several colours.
Write in the description that you can make them in other colours. Add a drop down list where people can choose the colour. Show images of the coloured twigs.
For the toilet roll basket, I'm thinking of colour choices : grey, cream, white, lilac.
For the gnome baskets, make them 2 or 3 colours..each.
For the cat baskets /kennels offer a range of colours. Not everyone likes brown..or sand.
Show a bunch of flowers in the baskets..this helps us see how small, wide they are.
Make clear steps. With heading: How to order.
Dont stress your customer by saying that the thing they ordered may have already sold. You need to make another for them.
Hello
Thanks for the detailed answer. But still I'm more interested now, can I offer two stages of payments? Does this contradict the site's policy? It is also convenient for the buyer, he sees the creation process and is sure that the work is moving according to his wishes. And the weight of large products is unpredictable, the delivery price depends on it. I can’t estimate the delivery price for large boxes, for example.
Hi..
I've never heard of charging the customer in installments on E. Its 100% upfront. When you've made the product in the days or weeks you've said it will take, then you post it.
You can take progress photos and send to customer. So they can see that you're working on it.
Put a few baskets wrapped in boxes take it to your local post office .they will weigh them. Take note of the cost to post to Australia, usa, canada, France, Sweden, Greece. Then you will have a better idea what to charge. Find out how much for tracking. It's best to send with T. So customer cant say later they didnt receive item.
Go to delivery section and ask your questions there. Plenty of owners will answer you.
Thank you.
