So our shop is a pretty busy shop, we do our best to condense production by bulking orders together based on different options like thread colors, patterns, etc. To do this we have to log all order data into an excel sheet and then sort the information into the proper order. This has helped us in reducing production time BUT, the amount of time it take to enter all the orders into excel is time consuming, literally hours every week, at least 10+, that is a whole days work essentially. Why isn't the additional information put into the CSV file? So orders can be downloaded such as the variations, titles, info in the personalization box, ship by date, etc. I'm sure we are not the only shop out there would greatly benefit by having this data available to us. Since Etsy is a handmade platform with a huge amount of personalized items it seems it would be very very helpful for shops to process orders, for us it would cut down on errors and time invested. Errors are made in data entry.
