I just received a huge lot of labradorite cabs off ebay for an amazing price, but they're all a little dull looking.
I tried polishing them with a little white jewellers rouge on cardboard (the process by which I hone my metal blades to a mirror polish), and it helped a little, but they're still not glassy shiny.
I intend to set these in leather, so I don't care if the edges are a little faceted, but I'd like to get a nice polish on the face.
Any suggestions for a simple way to polish their faces? I have a dremel, but not wanting to invest in expensive lapidary equipment ATM.
