As of right this minute, there are

290877 sellers
All of which have items in their shops. These numbers are approximate as of this minute and constantly change, however:

21 Shops have at least or OVER 2500 items in stock

13 Shops have between 2000-2499 items in stock

180 sellers (approximately) range in the 1000's range

200 sellers between 800-1000 items (fluctuating)

200 sellers between 600-800 items (fluctuating)

200 sellers between 500-600 items (fluctuating)

365 sellers between 400-500 items (fluctuating)

Most of the above sellers are listing items and updating their shops daily. That is only 1179 members or so.

That means the huge remainder of Etsy, 289698 members keeps under 400 items in their shops.

Pretty cool data! My vintage shop has over 200 items and my handmade shop has less than 100. :)

For a couple weeks I have been trying to get 20 robots in my shop. I would get to 19 and one would sell. This morning I posted number 20. Now, I think, why isn't something selling. ha ha

Very Interesting, I average 60-80 items in my shop. I did'nt realize that people had that much stuff, probably because I am always looking at jewelry : )

Wow, fascinating information! The more items you have in shop, the more your shop gets seen...so it is important to keep creating and listing! ;-)

same here! i also supply a couple of shops here in Cornwall, and find that its hard to keep my listings up but this week my aim is 20! :)
