SEO is pretty tough to figure out, sometimes. Part of the problem with Google is that it prioritizes sponsored sites over sites like our shops.
I'm pretty sure the trick lies in figuring out the right keywords to use in each product listing. Google has a keywords tool that I'll link at the end of this reply...
I write for a few sites around the internet, and I find that coming up with keywords for an article is easier than finding the right ones for individual products. I think it probably has more to do with getting in the right mind set and a familiarity with how internet marketing works.
