Got Invited, But now what

Ok so I got invited to this community, but how does it work and how do I promote my Etsy page on this forum?

is no one else concerned that we were emailed an invite and the team captain doesnt have a store OR picture???? or am i the only one wondering how long its gonna be until my etsy is hacked?? how do i UNjoin a team?

This is a FAKE team folks.  He has a widget sending out dozens of invites per minute.  And he wants you to click on his website that you might have seen when you joined.  Guaranteed that this is sole purpose.  If he DOES create a thread, it'll be for promoting his Website, which is NOT an Etsy shop. 

Solution?  REPORT him.  REPORT the 'TEAM'.

And then LEAVE this team if you want.  Option is in top right hand corner down pointing arrow.

In case you don't know how to report him, click on Subject: An invitation to join the Etsy Promotion Team group 

that you got on your invite message.  His website address is on that too.

I just had to change all my Facebook stuff my account was compromised.i think k this was a scam. I'm so disappointed.
