Getting sales

  I spent the last year tweaking my Etsy store and spending time on the details really helped me increase my sales.

 What worked for me was having amazing photos, impeccable detail (literally everything I could think of) in my listings/item descriptions, perfect SEO (I did a lot of research about this and it's actually pretty simple), and started paying for promoted listings. I also respond quickly to people's messages, and send personal thank you's in each order (so, amazing customer service!). But I noticed that having good SEO was huge.

SEO? A real mistery and one of the Keys to success: it's how your items are going to be found in the inmensity of Etsy (or wherever else in the internet). You have to use the words with which your clients Will look for your item on tittle, tags and description... But here's the Challenge, too obvious words are often already chosen by hundreds, and you're likely to be Lost in the middle search pages Who hardly Anyone sees beacause other things such as number of sales and items you've got, their novelty, comments, physical distance to the client, likes? And I don't remember what else, is also taken into account in Etsy's SEO algorithm. Hope It helps! :-)
