I thought it might be fun to meet, in person, other Etsy sellers from the Pittsburgh area. We could meet-up once a month in a different place (since we're talkin' a rather large "Pittsburgh area"). Keep the meet-ups light, friendly, and with a different theme such as: "Bring Your Item That Just Won't Sell For A Holiday Exchange", "Let's Welcome the 'Newbies'", "Materials Exchange"--you know, you buy that bag of red chems because you only need ONE!, "Bring an Item to Trade for Holiday Gift Giving", or, as I hope, just share in general and talk about our shops and enjoy each other's company.
No one has to ever participate. You can come check it out once, come to every meet-up, or pick and choose, whatever works for you!
This can be a real learning experience, but many Etsy Sellers work alone, and this would be a great opportunity to make new friends who share a special interest!
If anyone is interested, just post on this thread, and, from looking at your locations, I'll find a place for a good meet-up. I'm thinkin' maybe Panera Bread?? They usually have a special event room, and all you have to do is buy a coffee (or supper, or a pastry...). Every meeting will have a different location (that's free), or if someone has a spacious studio that you dare to invite people to see---or your home---we can bring snacks!
