Source for mould and deckle

Hey there, team! I bought a custom sized mould and deckle from Deckles2go.com about 2 years ago for a hefty sum ($100). According to their site the deckle was good for 5 years with heavy studio use (as in daily, for large amounts of paper). Well, Iw ould consider my useage heavy and I took good care of the equipment, not leaving it went for long periods, using it on a flat surface.

It gave out after 1.5 years, which is a far cry from the 5 I was told it should last. In short after speaking to the owner I was not given a refund or new item to replace it, but was offered in an "at cost" replacement which I declined, as I didn't feel I should have to pay for an item that didn't live up to to the lifetime I was told it would have. Very disappointed with the company and I won't be shopping there or recommending it to anyone.

SO. Does anyone have any recommendations for a source for a new (STURDY) mould and deckle set? I have the resources to make one myself, just not the time, so if I could find a reasonably priced alternative that will last many years, I'll go that route.

Only sources I know of are Twin Rocker Paper supplies or Carriage House paper supplies..I think Carriage House has more choices....recommendations, anyone else?

You can find them on ebay from time to time. I used to buy my m&ds from Lee S. McDonald in Boston but he is long gone now.

I recently purchased one from the Paperwright. I's excellent. (also have lots from Lee. Scott McDonald. I miss him!) - Gayle
