Printer for Handmade Paper

I have some fun ideas for things I'd like to print on the paper I've made. Does anyone have recommendations for what type of printer I should buy? I have already ruined my cheap Canon Pixma by trying to feed the thick, coarse sheets through it, and I would love to hear any suggestions you guys have for me. Thanks in advance!!
