What are your most challenging problem you have to sell your items on Etsy?

i have a real problem with the findability factor and then really looking different from everyone else. i am in a market full of hair bow people. i want to stand out.

All of the above! I would love to have some tips on visibility, copy writing and less time consuming social networking. Find factor is a big one! And coming up with words that sell without it sounding cheesy :)

Numbers 1 & 3 are the biggest concerns for me along with figuring out a more efficient way of posting items on Etsy. I am an absolute, rock bottom beginner to digital photography, so that's part of the problem. I'm using my phone to take pics right now because I can't face trying to master a digital camera in addition to all the other stuff I need to do to get my business up and running (and selling!) I've tried Picasa for photo editing, but it's so time consuming! I know I must be doing something wrong because everyone says it's so easy! But I spent hours and hours today getting only about a dozen items photographed, edited and uploaded. And I lost some of them. Well, I guess I've complained enough for now. Anyone else have this problem? Or am I the only Digital Dunce here?
I'd also welcome a discussion about using Facebook and Pinterest.

I also use my phone (iphone) to take pictures and I use Iphoto on Mac to edit them. I like it because I don't have too many options for editing besides exposure, saturation and little touch ups. I've noticed a white background on a cloudy day works good for me :)

Findability factor is probably my largest issue. Not sure if my tags need to be improved. Could so some detective work with similar shops.

My favorite form of social media right now is Pinterest. I only have a business FB page which doesn't do enough and is difficult to link up since I don't have or want a personal FB page. Pinterest is so easy to access from Etsy and treasury pin makes it simple to post treasuries I've made or am featured in.

I have the same problem, how do I drive traffic to my Etsy store. I have no problem selling my jewelry to people I know and through parties, so It's not the product, it's the marketing. I have started promoting my items and have seen more traffic, but I think I need a lesson in tags and titles.

I have problems getting purchasing traffic to my store. I have tried FB, twittering, etc but never any sales from there. Also am doing Search Ads which doesn't help. How do other jewelry people get so many sales, they never give up their secrets.
