Re: Shipping - Questions & Answers

Not really a question - but if anybody is looking for new packaging options for shipping, I recommend:

www.mailersusa.com

They seem to have the best selection as well as fantastic pricing for their mailers! You do have to buy in bulk, but they have free shipping!

I have compared SO many websites for mailers and boxes, and this is definitely the best I've found. I'm saving up right now for some awesome black poly bubble mailers! :]

Re: Shipping - Questions & Answers

I bought my mailers in bulk from http://www.uline.com/

They've also got packaging materials like cello bags (which I use for my individual card sales). I'm not sure how their prices compare to Mailers USA though. I'll have to check them out when I'm ready to buy more. :)

Re: Shipping - Questions & Answers

I know I used to use the Jiffy Padded Mailers, and they are fairly expensive!! Now I can get poly bubble mailers that self-seal and are water resistant for less, and on mailersUSA they come in AWESOME colors! I know that's not super important, but I'm really excited to use mailers that 'go' more with my products and my image. :]

Re: Shipping - Questions & Answers

Yeah! I was eying those poly mailers and thinking that it was cool that they had something that fit with the style of your shop. I decided to stick with white paper bubble mailers because they're stiffer, and I'm already a little nervous about not using cardboard mailers (which are so expensive. Yeesh.). Maybe I'll luck out and find something a little more colorful once I'm through my current box of mailers. :)

Re: Shipping - Questions & Answers

I buy mailers from my local store. I usually get a really good deal and bulk up when I can find sales.

My problem is always shipping heavy or large items anyone have advice for that?

Re: Shipping - Questions & Answers

good question, I would definitely look on Uline and mailersUSA, they have some good boxes and things for heavy stuff, and there are a billion sizes of mailers or boxes for large items, although they do of course get more expensive, and if you buy in bulk they take up soo much room!

do you ship heavy through through the post office or from home? you could always do heavy through the post office flat rate, that might help out. all of my items so far have been super light so I've got no experience in that area!

Re: Shipping - Questions & Answers

I'm so bad at pricing my shipping costs. I looked it up and I thought shipping to the UK would be nine dollars, and then it turned out to be only two!
