Re: Item Tags - Questions & Answers

Do we have a nerdfighter tag for this team? If not we should make one so we can make treasuries and find awesomeness with ease! :)

I agree!! We definitely need one. We could do #etsynerds or just #nerdfighter

Re: Item Tags - Questions & Answers

Err, probably a dumb question, but how do the tags work? Is it similar to other social media sites? Do we add it to the item description or is it supposed to be one of the keywords...?

Re: Item Tags - Questions & Answers

@Pagan: I like both, but if I had to pick one I'd probably go with #nerdfighter. That way we may catch some nerdfighter sellers out there that don't know this team exists.

@Ariadnex: Tags are keywords or phrases that help you get hits when people search. They're near the bottom of the listing process and you can only have 13. On live listings I think you have to push "view items details" at the bottom of the listing to actually see the tags. In teams they are listed to the left-hand side.

Re: Item Tags - Questions & Answers

alright, #nerdfighter it is!! i think we should also use it if we post on www.wanelo.com or on Instagram :] that way everything gets seen together!! we can take over the internet :]

@adrianex: just what knittymd said!! it's what customers type into the Etsy search or possibly even Google and other search sites, to find your products. like for earrings you may tag them "dangle earrings" or "nerd earrings", etc etc. they are SUPER helpful, but it can be really hard picking perfect ones!!

and as a side note, I've noticed that most of my views come from the tag #nerdfighter already :]
