Help! How do you price items for an exhibit?

I'm joining my first art exhibit in Tokyo and my pieces are based on my illustrations. Instead of using paper I burned my design on wood pieces. I made a total of 8 pieces for this collection. Each piece was burned using a burning tool and not a laser machine. Each piece took about 6-8 hours to make from sketching to the final piece.

The organizers have asked me to price each piece however I'm at a loss on how to do this. Any tips? I know how to price for retail but I don't know how to price for an exhibit. These pieces are going to be one of a kind.

First of all- those are so cute. Second, pricing for a gallery isn't so different from pricing for retail. You're still providing a product for a customer- the venue is just a little different. The spreadsheet that goes along with this article is very helpful: https://blog.etsy.com/en/2014/how-to-price-like-a-pro/
In addition to figuring out the price of materials and labor per piece, take into account the fact that your pieces are made by someone with a particular set of skills (woodburning) that not everyone has. In my experience, I try to price things as dispassionately as possible- having a pricing formula written down on paper makes it easier to to defend if someone tries to haggle with you.
