Hi! I have a question about selecting the right type of paper for printing 8x10 art prints.
You can check in my shop to see samples of my artwork. I digitally design art with graphics and typography lettering. After printing, this art will be framed as home decor.
The basic criteria I'm potentially considering:
* 8.5x11 size paper
* around 80lb weight
* coated paper (with a little gloss)
I'm having a challenge finding the right kind of high-quality paper that I need. I'm not sure if I need a cardstock, or if I need to look at another type of paper. Something with a little bit of a semi-gloss coating would be great I think, if it would help to make the colors brighter and "pop" off the page (but not too glossy of paper though).
What kind of paper do you use or recommend for artwork?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
