Yep, I don't pay any attention anymore when people say things like that - in my experience they hardly ever actually buy the item they were gushing about, and if you take them seriously you just get your hopes up and end up disappointed.

From the other side. I have been guilty of running across something so strikingly pretty or exquisite that really caught my attention or I had no idea one ever existed that had no immediate need for, could not afford or probably would never have one in a million years, ( I looked at a $248,000 car last month) that I though was at least worth saying

or something like that.

that doesn't bother me, it's kinda flattering, i just meant when people say oh how much to ship to me or omg i need this! they actually said they wanted two sets! :(

On the up side, a few weeks ago I had a convo like that, expressing interest, then they disappeared. A week and a half later they ordered the item, with a note : "OMG I almost forgot to order this!" All's well that ends well & you never know!
