If you have more than one shop, do you have to join teams in both shops? If so, that will be really confusing and hard to keep track of!

You don't have to join teams on both shops unless you wish to post replies or new threads from both. It could become confusing, yes, if you post a lot from both as people might not realize you are the same person at first unless they look at your profile.

I have two shops, and am on this team on both. However, I try to only post from this one.

I post from both my shops, and it doesn't get confusing to me, although I can't speak for others! I've thought about having the same avatar for both so that people will realise it's the same person, but not got around to doing that yet.

If you ever see a pipistrellecrochet knocking about the place, with a green handbag for her avatar, that's me too! :-)

Absolutely. It's your choice which shops join which teams. I have a vintage shop, and my other two shops are not appropriate for a vintage team. So it just depends.

And no more confusing than on the fora. But if you post from one shop rarely, it's kinda helpful to say something like "judysothershop here" when you post. but not required, and we often forget, anyway.

I was just going to say the same thing--it's no different than posting in the forums with two ids, except I expect that with a smaller group I might be more likely to remember multiple ids of the same person. :)

Thanks everyone. I like the idea of having one avatar for both shops, but like many people, I like to change my avatar seasonally just to switch things up a bit.
