SEARCH!!!!

AndrewMPeterson says

* The search on the forum home page now includes posts and threads from the five remaining forum sections, all archived legacy forum sections and any public team forum threads. The search results also include a new column distinguishing what forum the post or thread appears in.

* You can now search posts and threads within a specific team discussion from the team discussion page.

Thanks for your patience in getting this change out. It proved a bit more tricky than planned but it should be working well now.

======
the new stuff:

1) We can search our Team posts now!
2) When you do a global Forum search, it will show which Team the thread is in, so you see your Teams, and other public ones you might wish to join or lurk in.

Re: SEARCH!!!!

That might be true, but what is the benefit to a buyer when the Search on the Catagory page doesn't and hasn't and the thread on that started 5 days ago and had gone no where.

I do acknowledge that crumbs are nice to have at times. I am a big fan of creating stuffing from them for meatloaf and poultry, but isn’t there supposed to be some benefit to be derived from having them?
As a buyer, the objective would be to actually locate product. To me a seller or shop owner would be thrilled to be found.
And also other indications of success or a means to determine it anyway, is the number of shops presently encompassed by the existing venue.
A number increasing daily, but when looked at closely, the increases seem to be shops of 1 item only for thousands of pages recently, accompanied by shops of 1 item only that were last updated multiple months back, many of which are empty!!!!
As seen from a program that used to list shops on Etsy with 3 or more products available.
I find that mark of success curious to say the least.
As for me, if I could only finish paying bills and have any money left I need to find and buy shaving articles.
Oh Well
At least it is not snowing.
