Don't forget, Etsy banners have to be 760x100. This was incredibly easy! Took me about 30 minutes, and it only took me that long because I kept switching the photo I wanted to use.

I always recommend bannerfans.com to new sellers starting out who want to give creating their own banner a shot - very easy & helpful to those with no knowledge or possession of a program similar to photoshop.

I am so confused. I have attempted to make several banners with this website, but I am unable to change the font.. help?
also, if anyone could help me understand how to connect my shop facebook to my shop itself and install a like button, I would greatly appreciate it. I did start on my etsy page and follow the link from there to create a facebook, but it never connected? and now im having trouble figuring out how to connect an existing facebook.

I have tried at least 50 times to make a banner for my shop, and it still looks like a bloody pencil line of nothing,with no room to show anything. So I went to a banner maker online, and entered all the CORRECT perimeters, spent 45 minutes setting it all up, downloaded it, entered it to my page, and &&^%$$$%^& it's just the freaking same ! I am ready to just leave Etsy.

Just set up my new shop today, and went searching for a banner maker. BannerFans was exactly what I was looking for. A couple tips to suggest to people.

1) Use Google Images and search for "Background Images" unless you have a product or item in mind. I found WallpapersCraft.com to be one good source for textures.

2) If you can, use two browser windows (or two different browsers) so that you can edit your banner in one window while you upload it to Etsy and view it in another window.

3) Make sure that the banner stays the correct size. After a couple edits, I found that the banner size had changed. Picking Etsy Banner again fixed the size.
