Hey guys!

Feel free to brainstorm with each other here! I want to see everyone with new and exciting contests! The only way to get more promotion is to get YOURSELF out there! :)

Need some ideas to get started! Just ask!

Here are some things to think about:

What items do you sell? Can you create a free shipping coupon, special discount for the winner?

How long do you want the contest to run? A day, an hour, a week? It's up to you!

Is it a creative thinking contest or just a straightforward question?

Can we create contests such as giveaways, special coupon discounts, etc? How would those kinds of contests be promoting the winner? (As per team rules...)

The answer to all those questions is yes! Each person has the right to have their own rules in their contest.

The only rules you have to follow are:

Don't exclude anyone from the contest

Promote the winner in a treasury

Link the winner's shop in an upcoming listing or elsewhere where they will receive promotion

close the thread of the contest when it's over

put a definite end time of the contest and all the rules in the original post on the thread!

Also make sure to tag etsycontests in the winner's promoted listing and the promoted treasury.
