I just started a blog
http://bricandbrac.blogspot.com that is a bit about my Etsy shop, a bit about art, and a bit about a lot of other things, but all presented (hopefully) through the lens of objects. Everyday objects, art objects, and whatever sort of objects we may not be thinking about actively but are meaningful to us and tell a story.
Etsy seemed like the natural place to look for these connections between people and things: between crafters and vintage collectors, this is a whole community of people who value beautiful, meaningful objects.
I think it would be really cool to gather some of these stories about meaningful objects from Etsians and others. It could be about something in your store, an heirloom, childhood toy, or any other significant object in your life. I'll feature your stories on my blog. While I'm hoping for meaningful stories than are more than just free advertising, of course I'll link to your shop or blog or wherever you want. With a collaborative project such as this, I think it's possible to get a nice exchange going and people looking at it from many different directions, so it could be a good publicity opportunity!
