Calling all Etsy Captains, seller coaches, and education enthusiasts!
We’re excited to share that the Etsy U program will be back this year, and starting today, you can apply to be an Etsy U Instructor here.
For those who may be new to the program, Etsy U is a Community education program for sellers looking to grow their business, support other entrepreneurs, and connect with creatives in our global community. Here at Etsy, we know how much Etsy Teams support one another. We’ve created this program to empower and amplify the work that many Captains and educational leaders are already doing to help others thrive.
Etsy U Instructors will work with Etsy staff to take trainings and host educational workshops throughout the year. We’ll cover a variety of topics–including but not limited to–Etsy Search, Product Photography, Trends, and Social Media Marketing. You can learn more about the program here.
If you’re interested in attending an Etsy U workshop, stay tuned! We’ll be sure to update the community when classes are officially in session.

What criteria must you meet in order to apply?
- Instructors must own and operate an active Etsy shop for a minimum of 2 years.
- Instructors must acknowledge and agree that participation in the program does not guarantee increased future sales or shop performance.
- Instructors must have a passion for community and sharing knowledge with others.
- Instructors will need a computer or other internet-connected device and the ability to host online workshops.
- Instructors must be in good standing with Etsy, as determined by Etsy, in its sole discretion, and be in compliance with Etsy’s House Rules at all times.
- Instructors must comply with all applicable laws and rules in their country/jurisdiction related to conducting the workshops and/or training sessions.
