What will you change in 2012

I recently changed my photo style for my etsy shop, and am thinking of other changes. The little buttin next to my name has done me well this year, and I was thinking about updating it, but it is my identity..

I love seeing the image I recognize from Etsy, on someones blog to, it makes it personal.

What will you change in 2012 in your blog and your shop? What is to important to change?

I'm thinking of changing my shop name finally to more reflect what my shop is becoming. I want to add more inventory to my shop- lots of ideas but not as much time. I might try doing seasonal banners this year, as a lot of people did, but I'm going to keep my avatar- I think it's pretty recognizable.

I am going to try to work harder (if that is possible! LOL) and get more listed. My handmade shop has picked up quite a bit the last few months and I want to keep the flow going...I have more ideas than time. I also need to list a bunch of things in my vintage shop that I have already bought this month but had no time to list. I guess my short(er) answer is I need to hit the ground running after Christmas! I need to try to get more posts on my blog..I have actually had customers say they had never been on Etsy before and found me through my blog which was shocking to me..sometimes I feel like I am talking to myself!

I'm going to design more gift certificates and gift cards for the shop. Although I have a bunch of free foundation image downloads for graphic designers on the whereapy blog I'd like to make more tangible items from those for people without an art/design background.

I am definitely thinking about a LOT of changes but......................we'll see if any of them get done :)

Some are;

Working on my own website and facebook pages to enhance my exposure to my Etsy shop,

seasonal shop banners and like Leigh says, work on offering G.Certs and then maybe more of the special priced photos sets, I have been working on slowly this year :)

I've already updated my blog header (again), but I'm not sure I'm done playing with it yet. I'm also tossing around the idea of changing the name of my blog, but I don't know if I can do that without messing up everybody's RSS feeds. Does anybody know if it's possible to change it easily?

I changed my banner, my avatar and I'm also changing the style of how my pictures look too. Overall I would like to give my shop a new look and feel to it but it's gonna take time. :)

I plan to list more, focus on my ETSY shop and get it going (most all of my sales are from craft shows), be more active on fb page, twitter and blog. I have been taking care of my Mom for 6 weeks and head home next week(she is in Nevada--I live in Colorado). While at mom's I am on my laptop which really restricts what I can do on the blog. Maybe one of you more technological savvy people could help - my laptop won't let me stay signed in to my blog or make any comment on others posts. Any ideas?

I am happy with the layout of my blog now. For 2012, I'm going to monetize it a little. I'm going to put a paypal "buy now" type button when I finish my book of greeting card poems. I have 49 and when I get to 50 I will list a PDF of them on my blog.

I'm not ready to attempt an automatic E-downloader. I will just have to manually email people who buy it.

I hope to add more original diy projects to my blog in 2012 including a recipe series of things my boyfriend cooks from his head as a new experiment.

I was considering adding more "customized" custom listings in my shop, if that makes any sense. Most of my Christmas sales were custom pieces....

Blog-wise, I just need to be more consistent with it.
