What is the ettiquette for featuring an item from another Etsy shop on your blog?

Hi!
I was wondering what the ettiquette is for featuring an item from an Etsy shop on your blog? Can you just copy and paste their item and give full credit and a link to their shop? Or do you contact them first and get permission?

If I use an Etsy item, I generally post it up linking both the photo and the caption to their listing, then I'll contact them and let them know I used it with a link to the post. I tell them if they don't want me to use their photo, I will certainly take it down. So far, no complaints. Most people are happy for the exposure. :)

I have never asked permission but I always post a link to the item. Free advertising for them.

On the blogs that I read that feature Etsy items regularly, there is always either a link on the photo, or a "source" link beneath it. as long as you have those, I think that is is absolutely fine.

I do the same, I always link the item to their shop and contact them to let them know their work was featured on my blog... No complaints yet. I agree, I think the exposure is much appreciated, I know it would be for me.

I do like it when I am contacted and told about being featured, I've had times where my work was featured on a blog, but I never knew it until I stumbled upon it. I like to be able to thank whomever does a feature of my work. :)
