Hey everyone! I am having a problem that I'd love some feedback on. I started two blogs in the interest of promoting my shop. One of them is specifically about textiles. I'm an archaeologist and have a deep interest in some of the more academic aspects of traditional textiles. Long story short, my bog posts are more like mini-dissertations than blog posts. Each one is taking several days to prepare. Therefore, I'm not posting more than once every week or two. I'm REALLY happy with how the posts are coming out, people seem to like them, and it's very fulfilling doing all this research and writing about such an awesome topic. I'd hate to skimp on the research in favor of posting more often, although I recognize the need to post more frequently. I'm over-reaching as it is, with time. I have a 3-year old son (I'm a single mom), work full time, just opened my etsy business, have two dogs, and two blogs. It's a LOT!
The problem, in a nutshell, is that I don't think I'm posting enough. What do you guys think? Is it better to create fewer posts that are of high value, or more posts that are of slightly lesser (academic) value? Can I mix it up? How can I have balance?
Thanks so much!
