I have found a few things that seem to help my blog
1. Be honest and real. Don't act like your perfect, people connect to those who are genuine.
2. Have lots of pictures, most people look at blogs while at work and pictures are entertaining to the eye and catch their attention enough to continue to read.
3. I personally like blogs that have tutorials or recipes. I've added a few to mine. *Bonus* adds incentive to cook and explore new recipes to add.
4. Research and pursue being a sponser, send e-mails and network with blogs that you feel have a similar reader followship.
5. Make it visual organzined and appealing. Go to your own blog acting like it's not your own...how would it make you feel? do you identify with the theme and look of it, does it entice you to keep reading and coming back? Be honest with yourself and learn what you need to keep or improve on. I do this all the time.
Hope this helps!!
