Selling ad space?

How many of you sell ad space on your blog?

I'm considering doing it on The Little Owl, my blog, but I don't know if anyone would be interested.

What do you think, any advice?

Or...have you ever bought ad space and saw that it worked for you?

If I do end up selling ads, they will be only around $5 each, because I don't believe in charging the extreme $80-$100 that i've seen with many bloggers.
