This thread is for pinning one another's BLOG posts on Pinterest. http://www.pinterest.com If you are not a member, you can either request an invite through pinterest - they are backed up so it can take a few days - or CONVO ME with your email address and I'll send you one through Pinterest. Pinterest is a great way to get more exposure to your blog and I use it because it is a proven traffic driver for me and others who take the time to participate, build a following and add things they love on a regular basis. It's also 100x better than regular bookmarking because you can categorize onto boards and get a picture thumbnail of every pin!

Every week now I receive about 2000 hits to my blog from pinterest and as your network grows, there's even more potential for your own traffic from pinterest to increase!

To participate, you need to be a member of Pinterest. Simply post up to TWO LINKS to BLOG POSTS you would like pinned by others onto one of their boards. Please choose a blog post with one or more GOOD photos and preferably content that will fit easily into most common board categories. Then pin all links to Pinterest that land in this thread. Please check back at the end of every week to be sure you haven't missed anyone. If you are just posting and running and not pinning, it will be obvious and your pins won't be returned. You can also leave your Pinterest profile link if you'd like more followers.

Is anyone else having trouble with the number of followers/pins/etc. showing up? Everything looks normal but now instead of 90 followers it says I have 4 and instead of my several hundred pins it says I have 5. They're all still there, just the numbers are off. (If anyone has a minute, could you tell me what my numbers look like to you?) Sorry to be off topic a bit...

CrochetBabyBoutique-- You can definitely make a board of just your creations. I have one and just read Pinterest's terms when I was trying to get some help with my account (see below). Here's my Made By Me board: http://pinterest.com/howsweeteritis/made-by-me/

In case anyone else is having trouble with their counts, here's the reply I got from Pinterest:

We're recalculating all the counts for users and you may see some changes to your numbers, and then the correct one should be appearing soon. We are switching to a new system, but in the mean time, this is a display issue only and does not affect your actual numbers of pins, followers, etc.

Thanks Charlene, I did find the items you pinned for me. Yours were easy as you don't have as many boards or pins yet. I put my team pins all in one place so it is easy for everyone to check. They are under "Favorite Blogs".

Here's the easiest way. Pin something from your blog or shop. Click to view that pin from your board. To the left it will say "Also from xxx.com" Click on that link and it shows everything from your site that's been pinned and who pinned it. Or if you have your own domain, you can put in the url field in your browser: http://pinterest.com/source/xxx.com/ For example mine is http://pinterest.com/source/soapdelinews.com/
