Picket Fence is a great directory for blogs that are family friendly. They just reset their vote count, which they do every so often to give newcomers a fair chance to achieve a high ranking - so if your blog isn't listed yet, now's the perfect time!

When you sign up, you're given a link that when clicked, will automatically count as a vote for your blog, up to once a day per computer. Here's mine ~

jenya - Picket Fence provides a code that you can copy and paste into a widget. Just sign into your Blogger Dashboard, click Design, Add a Gadget to your right sidebar, choose the HTML/JavaScript one, and paste code there.

Laurie- Sure! It's one of the few things I know how to do.
1-Copy the code
2-Open up your blog dashboard click Design
3-Click Add a Gadget- you might have this in several different places. Choose the area of your blog where you want to put the box.
4-Scroll down until you see HTML/Java Script and click the little plus sign
5-Paste the code into the box that opens up. There is also a place for a title if you want to add one.
6-Click Save and the box will close
7-Then click Save so it will save the new changes and tada!

You can add a lot of stuff to your blog this way and you can move the gadgets around by dragging the boxes in the design view.
