Is My Blog Too Boring?

My husband says he doesn't like reading my blog because it's too plain and boring. Personally, I like it (obviously, or I wouldn't have it look this way), but I would like other people's opinions. What do you think?

I think having a white background on your blog is the way to go. It keeps things clean and really lets the content be the star.

You might like to have a line or some kind of marking in between your posts and the sidebar, though. Just to keep things organized-looking, if that makes sense. :-)

I love it! Very crisp and clean. not too hard on the eyes. the only suggestion I have is to maybe make your photos in your posts a tad bigger.

Is your husband your target audience? Blogs are nichey by nature and perhaps he's not in your niche.

Also, tell him he's boring! Paper work on the weekends!? His opinion on exciting is now null and void. Tell him I said so :)

A line around your posts? Some where under "template" and then "advanced" you can pick the colours or each piece of your blog. I bet its in there.

Perhaps it's not your blog that needs changing but hubby's support of your efforts! Ah...the trials of marriage...amen?!! Your blog is about what is near and dear to you, your family and daily goings on; what a lovely tribute and memory-making process and it will change and grow daily as will your family. Tell your husband to stop being a crab and start being supportive! But seriously, I don't think your blog is focused towards men. I know mine is not. As long as you enjoy what you are blogging about, others like you will enjoy it too!

I like the white background. I don't like when blogs have that look of too messy and you can't find things! Mine's even more bare so hopefully it's not boring!

It's nice that your husband is giving an opinion though, my bf just says "looks great" to everything haha.
