I need some reassurance, please!

I have just spent the better part of the morning attempting to make a "Grab my Button" gadget for my blog. Would someone please let me know if it really works? Please forgive my ignorance, but how do you even grab someone else's button and if you do, what do you do with it???? My blog address is:

Thanks for your help. This is a great team!!

Good job! It works! It's a little small (it's posted on my blog on my ever growing blog roll!) :)

Re: I need some reassurance, please!

Looks good to me, now fans can just copy and paste the code into a post or HTML widget on their own sidebar. I'd recommend designing your button to 125x125 - that's a more common size. That's what everything in my right sidebar is ~ http://blog.aquariann.com

Re: I need some reassurance, please!

Great job, though I also recommend a different size. I use 150x150 for mine though 125x125 is common as well.

Re: I need some reassurance, please!

Is this size better?? So, when you grab someone's button, you are really copying and pasting the code below it?? Don't worry, I'll get this sooner or later!!

Much better, Boomer! And yep, that's right - the code is what allows other bloggers to use your button without having to upload it themselves.

Re: I need some reassurance, please!

Hi everyone! I just added a grab my button to my side bar. Would someone check and see if it works if you have the time. Not sure if I did it right. You don't have to keep it.
Thanks so much
Judy

Re: I need some reassurance, please!

Hi elysiumlivingco, I had sooo much trouble until I found this site. The trick for me was to print out the instructions and hace them right by my side while I was creating my button. Good luck!
