How do you add a widget to the page header?

I'm trying to add a widget (an image) under the page header that would be my blog description. I can't stand the left justification and I want it to be in the same font as my logo. I'm using blogspot.com.

I looked up a couple of tutorials online but one was obviously for an old format for blogger and the other one didn't work (go into the html and change the max elements # for header). Any ideas on how to do this?

Thanks in advance,

Tricia

To center it, and <center> and </center> around the gadget code.

You can't have the same font as your logo because that isn't an internet font. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Font_family_%28HTML%29

You can make .png buttons (or hire someone to do it. I know someone...) and put them there and they will be the same font as your logo.

I'm sure there's a way to add that font so you can use it but it would be complicated and I wouldn't feel comfortable getting you into it.
