Hi, I have a question about blogspot, can you help?

Hi, I'm hoping someone can help me find an answer to this problem, as it's really perplexing me!

I have a blog using blogspot, as does my mom.

1) I've noticed that some people follow me using their twitter accounts. How do I follow them back? And when someone follows me, and I click on their name, and no link to a blog shows up, does that mean they don't have a blog so I can't follow them back ? Should I then friend them instead?

OK, next problem...lol

2) My mom was using her Ipad to follow other people's blogs, and didn't realize that she'd been following using her twitter account instead of her blog! *how* do you even follow someones blog using a twitter account, i mean where do the posts go? And is there anyway to change from following someone via twitter, to following them via your blog?

So confusing to me, I hope someone can help.

Ha ha, I don't know the answers to these either! I actually don't understand twitter at all. The whole concept is just completely confusing to me. Can you have friends on Twitter? Can you reply to someone's tweet? I have no idea! Hopefully someone else will answer this for us :)

Haha oh no! Well, I know that on twitter, instead of friends, you follow someone. And to reply, you say "@theirname, blah blah blah"...but as to blog following using twitter, 0.o i know nothing! lol

Are they following via Google Reader through their Twitter account? I think when you click the "Follow" button (and you aren't signed in), it gives you several options of how to sign in. One is Twitter, Facebook, Google....

I've never followed someone like that so I'm not quite sure.

Theintermission is right... Well, I'm not sure about Google Reader, but with Google Friend Connect, when you click flower, it gives you different options for how you want to follow, and Twitter is one of them. I have followers who chose Twitter (they have a little blue "T" over their pictures in GFC).

Yeah... I know that much. But does anyone know how, if you follow someone via twitter, to see the posts that you've followed? Because my mom accidentally followed people via twitter and now she doesn't know how to see all the posts...

I'm pretty sure it's not actually following ON Twitter, just following with her Twitter account. So she can go to google.com/reader to see the posts.
