Facebook Fanpage or Blog?

Hi guys!

I've recently seen a lot of Facebook Fanpages being created. Can someone weigh in on their experience running a Blog AND a Facebook page?

Is it a lot of work to maintain both? And do you concentrate more effort into one?

My problem is that I never know what to write (it's not one of my favorite pastimes) on either my FB page OR in my blog...

Do you promote your Etsy shop more on FB, and then whatever you are motivated to write about on your blog? I'm kind of stuck either way.

As some one mentioned earlier you can post your blog posts to FB http://facebook.com/wirequeen and Twitter http://twitter.com/wirequeen which saves a lot of time.

Its also wise when you add a new listing to post at least one of the pictures to Flickr. I've gotten views and followers to my other sites by doing this.

I use my blog as command center. I'm switching to wordpress.org because I see to many folks commenting about how their sites have been shut down on facebook and blogger. So my blog addy and email addy are on all my sites.. Nothing like owning your own real estate.
