Blogging Frequency and Page Views

I've been curious for a while that there doesn't seem to be a very good correlation between days that I actually blog and days that I don't in terms of page views. Has anyone done any research to see if a correlation exists? If not, does anyone want to help me collect some data?

hmm, I always see a big spike when I post. How are you promoting?

I post regularly in the daily blog thread. I think that one really depends on how early you post. For instance today I was slow and was on page 3.

I also promote when applicable on other teams. i.e. I have a blog post that I think is relevant. And of course I use FB.

I just find it weird that some days I wake up and do my morning status checks I already have 20 views, then some days I don't have any, but there really isn't a rhyme or reason. I'm curious if others have similar "unpatterns."

I have noticed that too and I agree with how early we post. I was seeing in Stats some views from Etsy, but not lately. I don't always leave a message since my view should help their stats and it takes more time. I try to visit a few artists, but there are so many it is hard to view all. I would never get any work done.
