Blogger and editing....

does anyone else here use Blogger?

my text keeps doing weird stuff like adding spaces and then when I edit and delete it pushes everything together? like now

It does do weird things... I have found sometimes it depends on where you put a photo, the size, etc. It will then push the text around, but sometimes it doesn't. I just play around with it until I get something I like... but it IS frustrating!

I use blogger and found that if you write your entire post in the html box versus the text box everything comes out fine.

I'll try to remember that creme - yes, the spacing thing drives me nuts too.
It especially happens if I go back in to edit a typo or something, one edit ends up taking half an hour, LOL!

sometimes for me it helps to just completely close out and reopen blogger. but sometimes it has gotten so messed up i have had to just retype the whole post. blogger drives me crazy sometimes!

There's also the Clear Formatting button on the right. It's a T with a little red x on it. Highlight the problem area and click that.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one! I had fits with it this morning, trying to get my text and pictures evenly spaced. I find that I can fix most things in the HTML view, though.

YES! Drives me CRAZY! Yesterday's post is still spaced out wrong. I can't stand that, and I've found that the more pictures I have, the worse it is. Sometimes I can trick it by copying, cutting, and pasting it back in. But I'm going to give CremeMagnolia's idea a try. Maybe that will help and keep me from wanting to strangle my computer.

Ugh it does this to me sometimes. Sometimes I can help it sometimes I can't. My best advice is to learn how to use HTML well. That way if it is doing something weird, you may be able to fix it by playing with the HTML.

How are you choosing to align your photos? If you're not choosing "center" and are choosing left or right, Blogger definitely aligns the text weird. Working the the html box is the safest best, but you can also try adding some linebreaks after the photos which might help.

i prefer my images to the left for some reason haha....i never had issues just the past two posts where its got a mind of its own!!

i dont know much about html so scared to start deleting stuff.......

do you have windows live writer? i believe you can download it free onto your computer from the windows website.

that's what i use.. you can write, add pics, vidoes and everything, even edit old posts through Live Writer and post directly to your blog.

i havn't had any issues using this program to post to blogger.
