Blogger Followers Issue?

Hi all!

Has anyone with a blogspot address noticed that your followers widget is not showing up when you view your blog? I've tried a couple of different browsers, and it's not showing up.

Yes, I have the same problem. I cannot see my own followers widget and I cannot see it on others' blogs either.

I read somewhere that the widget is made by a 3rd party, so you have to allow 3rd party cookies in your security settings. I have not tried fixintg this because I don't want to lower my security settings, but you might give this a try.

Hmmm....I'll have to give that a try. It's so strange, it was working fine a couple of days ago.

Unfortunately, mine has been disappearing a lot lately. I never had this problem before though, I don't know what made it start.

Yes! And my share it widget. But it's works on google chrome but disappeared yesterday from Firefox.

mine does not work often on IE .. it works about 95% on chrome

But it should work on Safari and IE9 though.

wow, seems like everyone is having this issue.

I currently use the chrome browser. I played around with the settings last night and I found that when I went to "clear browsing data" and deleted the cache and cookies, I was able to see the followers box.

I tried to view my blog this morning and it disappeared again. Deleted those 2 things again, and it came back. It really sucks having to delete each time, so I'm hoping they realize something is going on and it gets fixed.

I tried this same thing on Firefox, and it didn't work :-(

It's been happening more and more. It will come back. There is nothing you can really do but clear your browseing history and rebute your computer. Mine was wonky all morning and is finelly working again. It's not you , it's them.

My widget appeared today and now says Google Friend Connect instead of just Follow. They're working on rebranding and integrating everything into their new Google + initiative, so hopefully the bugs will get worked out soon ~

Yep, I think aquariann has it right. It seems to be a quirk they're having while they work on their re-branding. Now it's a colorful "Join this site" button.

Mine goes in and out all the time. It's been working fine, today's it not. As Aquariann said, hopefully they're just working out the bug with their upgrade.

My followers widget is there but only a few of my followers show up. The dashboard tells me I have 25, but my blog only shows 5. When I click on the "25 followers" only 5 show up. I have contacted "help support" dozens of times in the past few weeks with no response. Should I move to wordpress????
