I see alot of 'follow me on blog lovin' links on some blogs- what exactly is blog lovin' and is it worth using?

I'll follow you if you follow me while never reading, I don't know how that accomplishes anything, but clog up your blog follow list so you never look at it. Check out your Google Analytics or blog traffic feature to see how much traffic your blog really gets.

I think it's just a feed reader, like Google Reader and Bloglines :)

Blog Lovin' is basically a blog directory much in the same way networked blogs is. You create an account and then add blogs you want to keep track of to your account. Blog Lovin' auto imports the most recent posts from those blogs so you can get a glance at all that is new and then pick what you'd like to read.

I recently added a blog lovin' add this link to my blog http://www.soapdelinews.com However, I added it using my main url and not my blogger and it's different somehow. My blogspot addy has followers while my own dot come is still lonely. Still I know lots of people use it and am hoping that by adding another way to be followed I can increase exposure and followers.

I use it, but I don't know if it benefits me yet. I have checked my Google Analytics and I do get views from it. But I personally end up using my Google Reader more than my Blog Lovin feed.

I guess it is just another option to allow people to follow you. Some people may only use Blog Lovin, and not Google Reader.

I really enjoy using blog lovin'. It's a lot easier for me to follow the blogs I want to read because they use different platforms. I can follow blogs that are on blogspot, wordpress, typepad or from a private domain. With blogger I can only follow blogs using blogspot; same thing with other platforms. Blog lovin' lets me follow blogs all in one place and gives me a rundown of all the recent posts. I check it every morning!

actually i have another question, people who follow through blog lovin', does it show up on how many followers you have?

On the page for your blog on blog lovin' it will show how many people are following you. If you look at my page on the left hand column it shows I have two followers. http://www.bloglovin.com/en/blog/2552134/soap-deli-news/follow
