Hi everyone,
As you've probably noticed, this team has been pretty quiet since its creation. I was really hoping to create a small, tight-knit community of Sevier County Etsy sellers, organize events, share stories and tips, etc. Unfortunately, I'm just too busy with work and my own shop to take an active role in the growth of the team. This is something I truly regret, which is why I'm trying to fix it early!
I'm looking for someone to take over as captain, or for individuals who'd like to volunteer as leaders for specific roles.
What I'm looking for in a Team Captain:
- Someone who will keep the team active. It would be nice to come here and see a new post every day (even if it's just a comment and not an actual thread)
- Someone who is a fair but firm moderator.
- Someone who lives in Sevier County and can easily organize events.
Roles that could be fulfilled by Team Leaders:
- Event planning
- Seller mentor
- New member recruitment
- Team promotion on and off Etsy
I work for Etsy on their Product Support Team. Why am I mentioning this? Weeeeeell, another reason I created this team was to have a solid group of folks to meet with for Etsy's yearly "Home for the Holidays" event. I'd still like to do this, but it's much easier with a passionate, active group. :)
