New customers through Instagram

Hey guys! I was just wondering if any of you have gotten any sales through Instagram? I ran a giveaway a little while back, attracted some new followers (on instagram and Etsy)....but sadly....no sales :(

I think I have had a few sales from Instagram, not really sure though because they don't go through instagram to my website and purchase. Google analytics hasn't given me any of that info, but I have had sales of items a day or so after I put a picture of it up on my account, so I assume they're from Instagram.

I think it would help if Instagram allowed you to put a link in the comments that directed you to your item.

I have had one sale on Etsy from IG. but a lot of sales locally from it. I also think it takes some time. and a lot of followers.

I am trying to find ways to increase followers that actually care.

Since instagram views are not tracked on etsy, its hard to say. But I do want to say that I have had a few sales.

Finding followers that actually care is tricky. What I usually do now is go through the #etsy tag and find other artists that way, comment, like their pictures. I have found a lot of cool shops that I have never seen before and have actually bought things myself.
