Hello Etsins! :)
We are introducing a fun-filled, exciting, and, of course, challenging competition to you guys: the Etsians in the Rough Treasury Challenges! These will occur every two weeks and are a great way for you guys to advertise each other’s products as well as learn what buyers are looking for and what the current trends are.
Every other Saturday I will present you guys with a theme, and your goal is to create a treasury representing that theme.
THE THEME FOR SUNDAY, AUGUST 31ST - SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 13TH WILL BE: RUSTIC AUTUMN
Here are some rules and tips:
1. The first row of your treasury must feature 4 items from 4 different shops from the Etsians in the Rough.
2. Be aware of the balance of space and light and dark in your treasury. Try to make it as visually appealing as possible so there is a greater chance of it being selected as a Front Page treasury.
3. Tag your treasury with #etsiansr, the current trending tags, and any tags that are relevant to your treasury and the items featured in it.
4. If I do not give you a color scheme, aim to use 2-4 colors in your treasury.
5. Have a variety of items in your treasury. Try to have some clothing items, jewelry, home decor, vintage items, ceramics, and paintings. The more variety, the stronger the treasury.
6. Only use one item per shop and do not include an item from your own shop.
7. Be sure to use items where the pictures are crisp, clear, and bright. Avoid watermarked items as these are not visually appealing in a treasury.
8. Be creative and have fun! :)
THE WINNER WILL BE: whoever's treasury makes it to the Front Page or has the most views! Then for the next week's challenge, everyone must feature one of the winner's items in their treasury! :)
