My name is Helen, I'm from London, and I've just launched a small collection of handmade homewares and accessories (for now, it includes tea towels, loop scarves, zip pouches, cushion covers, pin cushions and needle books). I work mainly with linen and love simple, neutral colours, beautiful details and block printing - I design and hand-carve rubber stamps so that I can print my own fabrics by hand. My name is Valentina, and La Bottega 36 is my ceramics and weaving workshop in Santarcangelo di Romagna, Italy.
I opened a shop on Etsy trying to expand my clientele to Italy and the World .. (maybe haha!)
I like very different art fields, especially ceramics and visual arts, and finding a meeting point between artistic creation and my interests such as travel, cooking, criticism, psychology and semiotics of art, literature, botany, Italian Sign Language, history and people of my country.
At age 10 I met Raku and I fell in love. Since then it starts a passion that today is my job too, together with the hand-weaving creations.

Hello Everyone! My name is Rachel and I live in Agawam Massachusetts. Thanks so much for allowing me to join your wonderful group!

Emerald + Grace came about because of my ever-crafting state of creativity and the fact that I had a TON of material left over from my wedding that I wanted to repurpose. I started crafting things for my own home, but people kept telling me they wanted some too and that I should sell them, so I did.

My main focus is creating environmentally responsible products from all natural, biodegradable, and recyclable materials, such as hemp and glass. I LOVE air plants and terrariums, so that's my main focus, but I like to branch out every once in a while too. (:

I love creating products for other's to enjoy in their own home. It fills me with joy to think someone is cherishing something I created.

I will close by explaining my shop name. The kadupul is a rare and exotic flower from Sri Lanka that blooms rarely and only at night. If it is cut from the stem, the flower will not live to see sunrise. I wanted to name my shop after this flower not only because it is really cool and pretty to look at, but because it encompasses the philosophy that life is short, but startlingly beautiful. Thus, tea made from the kadupul would imbue the drinker with wisdom, beauty, and imagination.
