I've finally started work on the Team's blog. The idea with behind the blog is that it can be used to spread the word of team members - your shops, your projects, your events, etc - and socialise.
Content is important, and as anyone can follow the blog, be they members or just readers, anyone can submit craft tutorials or relevant posts to be...posted.
Tutorials can be created by individuals specially for the blog, or they can be donated (either duplicated from their original source, or a picture of the finished outcome can be donated with a link to the original tutorial), all of which will give credit to the creator/s.
There's also a Challenge section, with an explanation of the idea on the page marked as such.
What I need from you all at the moment, however, is this: As you may notice from the members section of the blog, there is only little old me! What I'd appreciate from everyone is this:
*A picture to represent you - maybe of yourself, your pet, your favourite cuddly toy, your favourite product, anything you wish to represent you.
*The name you wish to go by - your own or an alias you usually use
*A link to your shop/s, and the name/s
*Your blog, facebook, twitter, or something like that (note that your FB and Twitter may already be linked to your shop so they're not entirely necessary)
*A short introduction of you.
*An Etsy Mini code showing 5 items from your shop in thumbnail view, 1 row, 5 columns - Please note that I'm not sure if these will work, but I want to give it a try. If they don't then I will remove my own, but I can't see why they wouldn't.
Please send this information to etsianballyhoo [at] googlemail [dot] com. When you go to the blog, you'll see two paragraphs at the top of the side bar. The bottom line of the last paragraph has a link to the email address mentioned here, so you can use that if you need to.
