Hi! I'm new to this team and happy to find fellow engravers! I engrave glass and mirror surfaces using a rotary tool and different burs. I LOVE what I do!
Joe, love the font you use on your signs! Fantastic work!
I do a variety of engravings using a Epilog Mini 18. Most of the items I engrave are wood, but also engrave some painted aluminum such as my thermoses, and engrave-able 2 tone plastics.

Hi y'all, from ATXinventor I do laser engraviung on wood, just set up my Etsy shop today http://www.etsy.com/shop/ATXinventor as you can see, very Texan, but I have much more getting ready
I do a variety of engravings using a Epilog Mini 24. We specialize in personalized engraving of gifts for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, holidays, new babies, retirement...all occasions. www.lasergiftstudios.com
I can still do engraving, but my aging LaserPro Mercury has a tube that is about to give up the ghost. Things I used to cut at 20 speed are now cutting (barely) at .6 speed! Still engraves well, just slowly .. so slow it isn't economically viable for long!
But .. I've been doing those on Etsy for the last year or so .. made maybe a thousand sets. Being able to customize gives you a leg up on the competition!
I engrave using a rotary drill - on glass, mirrors, metal, and wood. It's a lot of fun seeing the reactions of people when I have finished their project.
I hand engrave metal, mostly copper and silver, with gravers [burins] using air-assist tools and hand push. I started engraving after I took a 5-day training class about 7 years ago — I love it!
I only do it as part of my hobby jewelry business now because I work full time, but it's very challenging to do engraving by hand.
Hello everyone! I engrave using a diamond drag tip, I mostly engrave aluminum and I hand stamp/emboss on stainless steel GI tags. This started out as something to do with my husband, it's something we both love doing and now make it our full time job :)
thought id see if there was a team for engravers out there, and guess what I found....
I do hand engraving! I use a mix of GRS and home made tools. While working as a bench jeweler I was sent to the GRS training center, and since have gone out on my own. (nothing improves your engraving like unemployment let me tell you) what do I engrave? well... anything softer than my tools. mostly knives, coins, and jewelry. Occasionally a firearm commission comes in too.
Another hand engraver here! I have both the GRS and Lindsay systems. I'm also out on my own and getting a *lot* more engraving done than I could while I was actually making money. ;)
Hi I have a laser so can engrave with that create lots of unusual designs as well as engrave and also a computer engraver for trophy plates brass plates etc
I just took a class in hand engraving at GRS and am gathering my tools to continue working at home. I make jewelry and will be using my new skills to add to my existing jewelry designs.
