POLYVORE PROMOTION

Polyvore is a wonderful site if you love fashion, beauty and home decor. You can create a set/collection then publish and share it with your friends/team members, and the Polyvore community. Here's a link to Polyvore to look around: www.polyvore.com

Be sure to download the 'Polyvore Clipper'. It's a browser bookmarklet or extension on your menu bar that lets you easily import items from other websites (your shop) into Polyvore. Since this is a new thread for Ecochic, the following promotion guidelines are really simple.

1. Create a set with your items and other categories that Polyvore has. The theme could be anything you like, and you can post as much as you like. Participating members are expected to reciprocate one another

2. After completing/saving your wonderful set, please copy the url link of your set and paste it to this thread.

3. Members will click your link then heart it and comment. Don't forget to follow each other.

4. That's it.

To even promote your collage further, you can post it on Google+, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.

To get started, I'll post my set so we can start promoting and getting more visibility. This is a creative venue that replaces Treasuries which I know a lot of people enjoyed.

Question Roseanne I have a polyvore collage board on pinterest and I have been pining collages from our threads. I went over to check it out and they are all on there 2-3 times??? It makes no sense. Does it automatically get pinned somehow? It says I did all of them. I may deletethe board and start over??

Kim, maybe it would be a good idea to start over. Since we're just beginning to use Polyvore, a new board would give us a better chance in organizing it. Maybe a new Polyvore board setup by Ecochic would be a good idea with the understanding that duplicate polyvores would be monitored or such. Just a thought :-)

I have a team love Polyvore pinterest board, but I'm not on that team now, so I think I'll close it, although I have alot of my PV's on it. I'll start an ecochic Polyvore board, and post the link, then we can all post to it, You can have one for your own, and another one for the team polyvores. Then we can invite others to post to it, do you want to do it Rosanne, or do you want me to do it?

That's a grand idea, Patsy, to have your own....duhhhh... I never thought of it. I just changed my Polyvore setting to promote on Twitter and Tumbler. Anna is a trooper to promote on other SM sites which probably we all should do. Patsy, please go ahead on setting up the board which would give Ecochic members a great advantage.
