The Annex Flea - the resident vintage and handmade market at Bathurst and Bloor in Toronto- is moving outdoors for the first of our summer markets, and we're looking to expand our vendor base a bit. One of your members - Sudsatorium - has been in our last two markets.
This market - on Sunday, June 8th - will be especially exciting, as we’ll be running it in conjunction with the Annex Fest, one of the first of Tronto’s summer street fairs. If you haven’t been, they shut down Bloor from Bathurst to Spadina, and fill the street with lots of vendors and music and fun. They have few to no vintage/handmade vendors however, and we will be around the corner in the Honest Ed’s parking lot. You may know this space as where Fringe Festival sets up their tent in July. We will be collaborating with the Annex Fest with our collective marketing, so our reach will be that much farther.
The details: 10’x12’ spaces are going for $90. There are half booths (5’x10’) for $50. Please note that we will not be providing tables or chairs, and it will be outdoors, so you may want to bring canopies/umbrellas. The Flea’s (and the Fest’s) hours will be 11am-6pm. This is the cheapest of the neighbourhood markets, and we really like to focus on new vendors getting experience in the Flea market field. We highlight them on our website, as well, so they have some social media content.
