Hi Everyone! I wanted to share some news about a special project I finally finished!
This project took me a year to realize, and I hope it enlivens the tailoring community! I wanted a really specific, high quality tailors' shear, which I came to discover were basically not available anywhere in the world anymore. There were some being made in Turkey, but the feedback on them was poor.
After a lot of research, I found the factory in Italy which had the original molds and some old timers still around who remember when they were made. I commissioned them to re-create these 13" shears. As I mentioned, these shears have not been made since the early 70's. I've finally realized this project with my first delivery to the US two weeks ago. The shears have turned out beautifully, weighing in at 3 pounds a pair, and feedback from the first group of orders has been amazing.

There were 150 of these made, individually numbered in both a brass handle and chrome finish.
Hope you like them!
