Welcome

Hi there,

Welcome to your team's own personal forum! This is your place to facilitate constructive communication within the team. It can serve as your team's main discussion hub, or a place where you post announcements every so often. You must follow the http://www.etsy.com/help/article/483#community_forums_chat_vl'>Etsy Forum guidelines when posting in the Teams Forum, and make sure that you are familiar with the http://www.etsy.com/help/article/483#community_teams'>Teams DO's and DON'Ts.

Even though teams are run by volunteer members of the community, all of Etsy's site policies still apply to team members and activities. However, Team Forums are moderated by the team leadership, not by Etsy Admin. Check out our http://www.etsy.com/help/article/340'>Forum Moderation Guide to learn how Team Forums should be governed.

Although you can chose whether a post is public (viewable by anyone logged in to Etsy) or private (visible only to team members), please consider the Team Forums as public spaces and remember to treat one another with respect.

Now it's time to start talking with your team!

Best,

Morgan and the Etsy Community

Re: Welcome

Yes, I do love to sketch, paint, doodle and would love to trade with other artists. I am not too familiar with the "how to" as far as digitally sent- do you mean by email? I do pen and ink a well as some using color with Copic Pens.

Re: Welcome

Hi Sandy I've only done two trades. so I'm not an expert. But always willing to trade with others.

One of my trades was for a downloadable/printable item. We traded out digital downloadable/printable drawings. That was simple.

The second trade was for a ACEO card. She asked if I would trade as she wanted my ACEO card and I picked out one of her ACEO's that she had for sale. We kept the prices the same as they were and completed the check out just like any other sale, that was we still had a record of the transaction.

The ONLY difference in trades is, because no $$ is really ever being exchanged - you'll want to go into your payment terms and change your payment methods to include "OTHER" so that the person trading can purchase from you without actually submitting a payment during checkout.

As soon as the trade is over I immediately change my payment methods back to normal as I only accept paypal.

I took a peek at your shop and noticed that you sell actual item that are mailed, but yes we can trade. Pick which item(s) you like in my shop and let me know which of your items (that you're selling in your shop) you are willing to trade for. When a trade is decided, we go change the payment options to "Other", we both can check out using "OTHER" as the payment method. The trade is completed and we send/email each other the items.

I know it sounds difficult but it's no really. Here is a link to where ETSY takls about trading. http://www.etsy.com/help/article/295?ref=help_search_result

Let me know what you think!!!

Love, Kathy
