Next months team challenge.

We've not had many entries lately for our team challenges, but as long as anyone wants to participate, we'll keep having them. I invite everyone to add in ideas of challenges that you would like to participate in. We usually do a color theme everyother month, as these seem the most pupular.

So what color combination would you like to to try?

If your would like to present ideas for future theme ideas in this thread that are not color related, please go ahead. We can always come back to your idea another month!

How do these work? Do we submit listings in another thread when they're finished? I have a grey and white rabbit I'm working on. This could be the motivation to finish her.

It's that time again. Does anyone have a idea they have been wanting an excue to try? I've been thinking that dolls with pets might be fun, or mythical characters...Anything works. List your ideas here!

hrm. I was going to work on my bear girl next. I can work on my Fox, but I can't think of any pets for her. I'm not ready to work on my hedgehog. He needs sleeves and I'm still learning how to draft my own clothes. The only one left is the doe fawn. She could have a bird as a pet. Ooh! I've been wanting to try these birds out. Great excuse!

I happen to have some mythical dolls in the works, so maybe we can do that one later :) ( No fair me picking the one that's easiest for me !) Let's try the pet one this month.

Well I forgot this is a short month! I guess tomorrow starts March! Lets pick a color theme. any color combinations you have been wanting to try?

I've got some orange sequins I've been eyeing. Or I could work on my bear doll which is yellow and brown. Hrm. Just did green last month, so I'm not ready to do that one again. I have a red, white and black fox doll I'm working on too. Then there's a brown doll that I plan on having a purple and jade dress. So, my suggestions are...

orange (and any color)
yellow and brown
red, white and black
purple and jade

I'm open to pretty much anything though.

Time to start looking at our next team challenge theme. What would you like to see for our theme next month?

Jane mentioned May day once before. What do you think about that? It would be April's challenge, but then they would all be ready to feature at the beginning of May? Here is a link to the May day article on Wikipedia for ideas, since I know it's not celebrated regularly in some parts of the world. May Day is good since you feature the April dolls in May.

(I'm still working on my March doll, sigh. Dress is finished, working on shoes, need to make the doll. This last minute thing is stressful!)

We could always just make it Spring dolls as, as you say, May day isn't celebrated universally.

I like spring dolls, it's a good idea. It's open for everybody's vision of spring depending on the «look» of that season in their country.

Spring it is. Alright. I think of the 5 dolls I have in the works, not one of them is springish. lol. Seems to be the way of things. If I don't get Aprils doll finished by the 21st, I won't be doing Aprils challenge. I will be out of town from the 22nd to the 1st of May. Kind of important trip. I outline it in my shop announcement if you're interested. I'm even having a sale to raise money to buy plane tickets. Here's hoping everything works out.

There's no way I'm getting a March doll completed, but I can't wait to see the final collection from the team. Spring dolls sound fabulous, and hey, I think with over a month, I might even get one done. Happy Easter, everyone!

Just a suggestion but when I think of Spring, pastels such as pink, mint green and yellow come to mind.

I like the idea of pastels. I love using color combos. Do we want to make it use all three colors pink/mint green/yellow, or maybe use any combination of 2 or more pastel colors in general? I'll make an official thread for this challenge tomorrow. Let me know what you think.
