what exactly is a BNS? I've heard it mentioned a lot on Etsy, but haven't quite gotten a good explination.

It basically stands for "buy now sell." Each one has a little bit different rules. But basically if you buy something in the treasury you get a spot for your item and other people get a chance to buy it.
